Project record

Place, programme and material context

  • Baytul Arqam is a prayer space within the mixed-use precinct in Linbro Park.
  • Stone-clad brick base walls and a steel roof frame support infill panels made from reclaimed timber stringers and blocks.
  • The timber blocks appear in stacked and diamond-shaped arrangements, while coloured glazing casts changing light into the musallah.
